Rules
Submit a Sheet

These rules were suggested by Anne herself. These rules will be enforced because we like it this way.

1. No characters created by Anne McCaffrey can be used, in any way.
2. No religion, magic, or war on Pern.
3. Other universes, whether created by Anne McCaffrey or other people, will never be involved with Pern.
4. There are only five dragon colors: gold, bronze, brown, blue, and green. There are no other colors, and there are no sport dragons.
5. Golds will only Impress to women. Bronzes will only Impress to men.
6. Benden Weyr and Ruatha Hold are off limits.

These rules are from us, the BoD of Brondir.

Dragon/human pairings are as follows:

• Queen - Straight females only
• Bronze - Straight males only
• Brown - Straight/bi males or gay/bi females
• Blue - Straight/gay/bi males or gay/bi females
• Green - Gay/bi males or straight/gay/bi females

1. HAD (Hearing All Dragons) is a rare talent and not everyone can have it. You will have to earn the right to have a character with the ability.
2. Female brownriders are very rare and will be by impression only.
3. No jumping between times. This skill was never found documented so not known about.
4. No writing about dragons fighting each other. Dragonriders do fight, but they will never endanger their dragons.
5. You can't write about another persons character without their permission first.
6. You must take part in at least 2 threads per character you own per month in total. High ranking characters will have higher requirements but these will be discussed with you before you are granted the rank.
7. If you do not keep to the minimum posting requirements you will be discouraged from creating more characters.
8. If you want to leave please let us know when you quit and what you would like us to do with your characters. We will endeavour to keep to your reasonable wishes.

Pets

1. Flits are 1 per 5 PLAYED characters you own and are granted at BoD discretion providing eggs are available.
2. All metallic flits are by BoD approval only and IC owner will be considered a 'ranking' character.
3. The secret word is glowbasket.
4. Green flights will NEVER result in any clutches being found. Green flits are terrible at looking after their clutches and are unlikely to remember where they clutched in the first place.
5. Canines and felines will only be allowed as pets at BoD discretion. Spit-canines and other work canines/felines exist but are NOT pets!
6. Whers are not pets. Don’t ask. It just won’t happen.
7. No other terran or pernese animals will be granted as pets so don't ask for them.
8. Characters with more than 1 pet may exist at BoD discretion only. Dragonriders with flits are frowned upon.
9. Candidates with flits will not be overlooked on the sands. Flits themselves can prevent their pet from impressing but that is at the discretion of the writer (notice of this must be given to BoD).

All members must be at least 13 years of age or have written parental consent.
