Physical Description:	Alannis has dark brown hair which falls in curls to her shoulders. Her eyes are hazel with long dark lashes and she has a full, rosebud mouth. Her skin is tanned making her teeth appear very white when she smiles. She is 5ft 5in tall and slender, her figure is starting to develop nicely and she has a roundness to her hips and breast that wasn't there a turn ago.
Personality:	Alannis is confident, sometimes overconfident. She has a bubbly personality and finds it hard to take things too seriously. She is a loyal friend and people find her easy to talk to and pleasant company. She is a good dancer, light on her feet. She enjoys the company of both male and female friends and is just beginning to understand the power of her femininity, flirting is fun!!
History:	Alannis comes from a very loving family. Her (long suffering) Mother is Margad, who has brought all her children up to have the utmost respect for the dragons of Pern and their riders. Margad likes her home to be neat, clean and tidy, in fact she's almost compulsive, unfortunately Alannis is not and much of her mothers time was spent tidying up after her youngest daughter or nagging her to tidy her mess up. Her Father is Tenshall, a holder. He has a small holding near High Reaches Hold, where he raises a variety of crops and animals. Alannis has two older brothers, Geralte who is 20 and Simion who is 16, and an older sister, Sarannah who is 18. Alannis and Sarannah are very close, sharing an interest in medicinal herbs which they often go collecting for their mother. Alannis worked on the family hold, in the fields helping to keep the weeds at bay in the crops and, to a lesser extent, with the animals. Alannis was searched and, with her parent’s consent, moved to High Reaches Weyr. During her time there, although she failed to impress at both hatchings she attended, she met W'maer, a dragonless man whom she befriended. Eventually they became a couple, and he seemed happier for a while, but then his continual mood swings became too much for Alannis. Seeking a way out, she transferred South, to Brondir Weyr, looking for a fresh start.
