Physical Description:

 Her face shows a trusting naivety which is more than a little misleading. With her shoulder length sun bleached hair and blue eyes she looks innocent and plays the part well.

She is about 5'5" with a nicely formed figure. Though she has an innocent prettiness to her, she isn't likely to set hearts aflame with her looks, she almost seems too childlike to bother with.
 

Personality:

 Looks can be deceiving, and with this girl, they are. Its not that she is guilty or anything, just that she is cunning and manipulative.. in a good way.

Perhaps that needs explaining. Lianari is good at figuring out things, especially with people. She uses what she learns to help them. Lianari is a mindhealer and sharding good at it too. She has a sixth sense about people and more than that with dragons. If she tries to hear them she can, making her almost indespensible on the ground during fall.

Of course, it was only when she trained as a mindhealer that she realised she didn't need one!

She is a nice pleasant woman with an excellent bedside manner. One of those you don't realise you are spouting you deepest fears to till after you have spilled them. The good thing is you always seem to leave her feeling better than you did before you saw her, so I guess that makes her good at her job.
 

History:

 Lianari was born to a healer couple at Fort Healer Hall. Raised amongst healers it seemed almost unconceivable for her to train as anything else, then at 12 the dreams started. As did the voices.

It disrupted her studies as well as her sleep. She couldn't concentrate for fear that 'they' would come back. It seemed that whenever she tried to concentrate 'they' would talk to her, ask her how she had slept, what they were going to do today, would she like to swim or sun. She couldn't understand and thought she was going mad. She also didn't tell anyone, letting everyone believe she was slow rather than telling them the truth - that she heard voices in her head.

The thing is that had she told someone about it they would have worked it out, that what she was hearing sounded very much like daily dragon talk. She withdrew into herself and slowly worked towards completing her studies. When a mindhealer apprentiship was made available she took the opportunity to learn more about that side of healing thinking that she might be able to 'cure' herself of 'them'. As she learned more about the telempathic bond between riders and their dragons it began to dawn on her that this might be what she was hearing in her mind. However at 19 and still not a Journeyman she would have had a lot of trouble convincing anyone that she could hear the magnificent beasts.

At 20 she finally made Journeyman Healer, a happy day for herself and her parents. She continued to train and at 23 was considered knowledgeable enough to specialise in Mindhealing. She took the first opening for a weyrhealer she could get if only to satisfy herself that she wasn't mad.

After a few months at Fort she went to the Weyrwoman to explain her problem. It was very hard, the first time she had ever told anyone about the voices in her head. Fort's Weyrwoman was uncertain at first, but as the girl related more of the talk she had heard some of it seemed familiar to the Weyrwoman as conversations her dragon had held with her. The goldrider instructed her dragon to repeat "Who jumped over the wherries nest?" only to her, and Lianari overheard the dragons reply, even the tightly shielded golds reply. This was enough for the weyrwoman to believe Lianari's tale and the young healer was pronounced able to hear all dragons.

Lianari continued to work at Fort until she was 29 when Brondir's Weyrwoman put out a call for a mindhealer to help with some of the candidates and weyrlings who seemed to have trouble settling in as well as a recovering comatose patient. After a meeting, with the two getting on really well, it was decided that Lianari would move to Brondir and fill the mindhealer positon there until the weyrs problems abated. She transferred immediately with her belongings being transported for her by way of Fort dragonriders.
