Physical Description: |
Tanniska is of average height, 5 feet 6
inches. She is slim but with curves in all the right places. She has
blonde hair which falls in wispy curls round her face. She keeps it fairly
short, as when it gets any length to it, it just goes wild. Her brown eyes
are kind and gentle, with long, long lashes. She has a curvy face, with a
cute little button nose and full, pink lips. Her skin is tanned a golden
brown with just a smattering of freckles across her nose. She is a very feminine person, preferring skirts and dresses to trousers. She likes to put combs in her hair, in an effort to make it behave. |

Personality: |
Tanniska is quietly spoken, but
she has an air of authority which makes people listen. She is generally
friendly and likeable and is respected by her peer group. However, she has
a temper which, although slow to burn, is incredibly fierce. She doesn't
shout and scream in anger, she is still quiet, but her voice drips ice.
Apprentices go out of their way not to annoy her as she is biting when
riled and takes quite a long time to cool down afterwards. She is a good
voice teacher, good at getting people to give their best, but she perhaps
organises them a little too much. In her mind, the end result is what
matters and the end results, with Tanni, are usually very good indeed. |

History: |
Tanniska was born at Ruatha, but her
family moved to Ista when she was 9 years old. Her father is a
Smithcrafter Journeyman and very dedicated to his craft. Her mother is a
weaver. She has a brother, Tannali, who is 25 and also a Harper Journeyman
teaching at the Northern Harper Hall. Tanni was apprenticed at the age of 13 and moved to the Harper Hall at Fort Hold to train. It was there that she met Kylla, and the two became firm friends. Over the turns, they noticed their friendship gradually becoming something deeper. Shortly before Tanni walked the tables, 3 months before her 19th birthing day, she and Kylla became a couple. When Tanni walked the tables, she was offered the opportunity to move to the Southern Continent, where Brondir Weyr were in need of Harpers. She accepted and persuaded Kylla to move with her. |
