Chen and blue Maranth

Physical Description:	C'hen is dark, tall and slim. Well built and slighltly muscular, his skin is tanned deeply. Most brown eyes like his are warm but C'hen's are like icy pits of cold set deep in their sockets. His Brown hair touches his shoulders but is usually drawn up. C'hen is most fond of brown's and black's in his clothing as those colours most compliment his dark complexion. When seeing him for the first time most people come upon the image of a dark foreboding drumming height in an un-used, crumbling hold.
Personality:	As if his appearance wasn't enough to put people off, C'hen supports it with an aggressive unapproachability that exudes from his body like a wave. He respects leadership and dependability in the Dragon Riders he flies with. But despises show-off's and isn't all too fond of what he considers flirty Greens' and their riders. This may seem a bit much coming from a Blue rider but he never liked flirts and show-off's before he impressed and he's never likely to change. His dislike of flirts goes so far that if his Maranth flies a green he is more likely to moth than end up being obliged to the Green's rider after the flight. But if a person managed to win his confidence and respect he would always be loyal to them.
History:	Cahen was the child of one of Ista Hold's many drudges, his mother had been forced, by who no-one had ever bothered to find out. Growing up in the hold Cahen was typically found helping out around the kitchens with his mother. Among the typically restrained hold drudges and kitchen help he was instilled with his dislike of show-offs and flirts as they usually ended up bringing trouble for the rest of the workers. It may have been an unfair prejudice but Cahen had taken it up with vigour. At the age of 15 Cahen was searched by Ista Weyr and stood on the sands for 3 years before he impressed Maranth. It was the happiest day of his life and possible the only time his severe features were drawn into a smile. Since then he's lived in the crowded Ista Weyr and when the chance came to move to Brondir a Weyr that seemed to have more then enough space he packed up his gear and decided to make the trip between.

Physical Description:	Maranth is a deep, deep blue looking as though he was birthed from the depths of the depths of the sea and not an egg. The blue remains this deep even on his underbelly and only looks lighter on his stretched out wings, letting light shine through to display a mottled pattern that glows in the sunlight.
Personality:	As serious as his rider, Maranth has practically no sense of humour. But unlike C'hen does not disdain Green's in fact Maranth adores them. Maranth has a severe personality and is quite prepared to bestow his opinion about others at the drop of a wherhide helmet.
