Shayla and blue Aysalth

Physical Description:	Shayla is 5' 8" tall, with shoulder length blonde hair, which she usually keeps neatly tied back with a leather thong. She has blue eyes and a fair complexion which she protects from the sun as much as possible, although she does have a nice, pale golden tan. She could not be called skinny, although by no means fat, and no one would ever mistake her for a man, not with curves like that. She normally wears practical clothes, trousers and tunics are her favourite, comfortable, nothing fancy, but usually fairly figure hugging, she is proud of her curves.
Personality:	Shayla is a hardworking dragonrider with a wicked sense of humour. Able to see the funny side of things quite readily, she can laugh at her own shortcomings, quite able to have a laugh at her own expense. Shayla has a nice sense of responsibility though, to dragon and to Weyr. She would always put Aysalth's needs before her own. Shayla is an outgoing, friendly person. She enjoys meeting new people and socialising with her fellow riders in an evening.
History:	Shayla was born to a greenrider in Ista Weyr, the result of a greenflight and, while not exactly unwanted, her mother simply didn't have the time to raise her, so into the crèche she went, to be raised with all the other weyrbrats. She had a happy, fairly uneventful childhood, getting along reasonably well with her fellows in the crèche and, in due course, apprenticing to the Bakercraft. However, at the age of 18 she decided to take her chances in the South and moved to Brondir Weyr, where she stood as a Candidate and, at her first time of trying, impressed her blue Aysalth.

Physical Description:	Aysalth is a rather small blue. Nicely proportioned and slim. His hide is a deep blue, with slightly lighter blue swirling down his legs and towards his tail.
Personality:	He is a cheeky blue, mischievous and talkative. He like to chat with the other dragons, and with their riders too on occasion. However, when it comes to fighting thread he is dedicated and determined. So far he has only sustained one small threadscore, across his left shoulder. It was his first time of fighting and he wasn't quite quick enough, he learned fast though. He is agile for a blue, being on the small side, but his stamina is not quite so great as other blues as a result.
