Current Location: |
Brondir Weyr |
|
Rank: |
Wingleader |

Physical Description: |
A’lim has pale blonde hair that
always seems combed. It isn’t however; it just neatly falls in place no
matter what he’s doing. He has pale blue eyes that always seem to squint a
little. There is a smile on his face most of the time, though never much
more then a faint, maybe even sarcastic one. He isn’t very muscled, or so
it seems. He is strong though, it just doesn’t show. A’lim wears
flightgear most of the time, but when it’s absolutely necessary he will
dress up. His voice is calming and makes people feel comfortable. However
it is the same voice that makes sure people don’t step out of line, as it
can be hard and commanding just as easy. His voice is A’lim’s great tool,
be it for drilling his wing or calming down a messed up rider. |
|
Personality: |
A’lim is a slightly complex being.
He can be sarcastic, like his smile indicates most of the time, but he
also can be very sensitive or strict. He does know how to act in certain
situations and makes sure he doesn’t say the wrong things at the wrong
time. A’lim loves feeling useful and he takes his duties as a Wingleader
very serious. He makes sure he is there for his riders if they need help,
no matter if it’s concerning Wing business or other matters. Because of
this strong sense of duties he hates seeing other people not taking their
own duties serious. A’lim has high standards, but that is just because he
is living by the same measurements. A’lim isn’t all duty though; given
time he can become a valuable friend. It just takes him some time to
figure out trying to amuse himself isn’t neglecting duties and that this
new person really isn’t trying to distract him. |

History: |
Aelim was born as the son of a
Minor Holder. Even though the Hold wasn’t big he did have rank and he was
very young when he learned that rank meant working hard. His father taught
him all about duty so Aelim grew up to be a responsible young lad. Aelim
wasn’t the next in line of succession though, he had three older brothers.
So sadly enough that meant he got to do a lot of work while he didn’t get
much back for it. Aelim wasn’t really discouraged by this and instead just
worked harder until one day his life turned all around. Aelim was found by
a searchrider who had been visiting the nearby Keroon Hold. He instantly
realized this was his chance to do something with his life. At the Weyr he
had more chance of doing something important then he had back home. When
he talked to his father, the man quickly agreed. He believed his boy would
be happier at the Weyr. At Igen Weyr it didn’t take long for the clutch on
the Sands to hatch and Aelim was one of those lucky few who impress at
their first try. From then on he called himself A’lim, rider of bronze
Travieth. As he went through Weyrlinghood he experienced some amount of
trouble due to him impressing so close upon arriving at the Weyr. However
it didn’t take him much time to catch up again. He graduated with the rest
of his class and soon after he started to work his way up in the ranks. He
had already made it Wing second when he heard of a new Weyr being formed.
With high hopes he moved to Brondir. Though he didn’t make it Weyrleader
like he had secretly hoped, he was overjoyed when he was awarded with the
status of Wingleader. |

Dragon Information: |
Travieth |
|
Colour: |
Bronze |
|
Physical Description: |
Travieth’s bronze hide seems to
have a red glow about it, though there are lighter stripes along the side
of his whole body. Travieth isn’t the biggest of bronzes, but has a strong
set of wings and an extraordinary long tail and neck. Travieth isn’t
really muscled, but like his rider his strength just doesn’t really show.
Travieth is one of the few dragons who’s hide easily show the state their
in. When he’s not feeling well the red glow instantly disappears and is
replaced by an odd pale shade of bronze. When he is in a flight however,
his hide seems to reflect his flightlust by the red glow intensifying. Of
course this is all just the normal way a dragon’s hide changes, but with
Travieth it just shows more. |

Personality: |
Travieth really is a pathetic excuse for a bronze. He sulks and whines like a weyrling and is easily offended. Travieth seems to be really spoiled, though A’lim isn’t the one to be blamed for this. It’s simply all part of Travieth’s nature. The bronze wants to be in the spotlight all the time and will bother his Lifemate without hesitating, just to be taken care off. Travieth hates to get dirty. He cherishes his looks, even though he really isn’t as handsome as he thinks he is. Travieth loves to be bathed, fed and oiled. However there are two things Travieth puts aside his childishness for, the ladies and Thread. When he and his rider are fighting thread or preparing for it, he is all business. Travieth honestly adores any female in the Weyr. Not because he wants to suck up to the greens and golds before they fly, but just because he likes them that much. He likes women just as much as he likes the female dragons and will drive his Lifemate to despair. That because Travieth with make any woman believe he is just adorable, even though he is pestering A’lim at the same time. Travieth has only flown one gold in his life and was heart broken when she chose another bronze the next flight. |
