Physical Description: |
K'len is a bit on the short side at
about 5"8" tall. He has dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes. He appears to be
fragile and is light even for his size. He only weighs about 125 lbs. This
is deceptive, however, K'len is very strong and there is nothing fragile
about him. He often surprises people with how strong he is and has no
trouble pulling his weight and then some as a dragonrider. He does tend to
look younger than his age; most people think that her is about 16 or 17. |

Personality: |
K'len is easygoing with a good sense of
humor. He is tolerant and patient for the most part and is good with
children, but he won't allow himself to be walked on. He would be a
natural for a candidate masters or a weyrling masters position. He is
likable and can get along with almost anyone. For all of this though,
there is an aloofness about him. He will only allow people to get only so
close to him. He will allow himself plenty of partners, but will allow
none of them too close. He has some trust issues. |

History: |
K'len is weyrbred, but his parents are
not. His father was a weyr harper at Ista for a time before it was decide
that he would to go back to his crafthall. He left when K'len was about 2.
K'len knows who he is, but has never heard from him since. K'len's mother
is a simple-minded kitchen drudge who was taken advantage of by his father
(hence the reason he was sent away). It was decided that it would be too
hard on his mother for her to raise him and he was fostered in the weyr.
When it became apparent that he was not simple-minded like his mother, he
was trained to hunt and do other tasks.
In spite of the fact that he was clearly intelligent, the other children often teased him about being retarded because his mother was and he became something of a loner. At the age of 12 he was put on the sands and impressed a green. When he was 18 he transferred to
Brondir weyr from Ista due to a conflict with another rider, a conflict
that he refuses to discuss with anyone. He insisted on taking his mother
with him since he is fond of her and he was afraid that she might be
treated poorly without his protection. He made certain that she was well
settled in the kitchens at Brondir and visits her often. He has proven to
be a capable and responsible rider. |

Physical Description: |
Kayreth is small even for a green
dragon, but she is extremely fast and agile. She is dainty in appearance
and habit and has a tendency to pose. She is pretty and she knows it. She
is an emerald green color and is very well proportioned for all her
smaller than average size. She has less endurance than your average green.

Personality: |
Kayreth is flirty and flighty and extremely charming when she is not fighting thread. Not surprisingly, she is a popular flirt with the male dragons and shows no real individual preference in a mating flight, but she does seem to have a preference for blues in general. Like most greens, she chooses based on her mood at the moment. During threadfall she is all business, however. The flirt is replaced by a serious, businesslike green. |
