Sh'zau and green Emessenth

Physical Description:	Sh’zau’s appearance would, on earth, be described as Asiatic. He has short, silky black hair that he keeps at chin length. His skin has a yellowish tinge to it. His eyes are of a deep amber colour and are shaped like almonds. His lips are soft and pink and he has thin, dark eyebrows. Sh’zau is small and thin, he stands at about 5’5”. In clothing Sh’zau prefers trousers and blouses in colourful shades. He is quite a feminine man, like most greenriders. Sh’zau could be considered quite handsome, and attracts both male and females.
Personality:	Sh’zau is a cheerful guy, always willing to try and cheer people up when they are down. He’s a caring person and strangely enjoys being a shoulder to cry on. He loves to help people and makes it a job to talk to people who look sad. It always makes him feel good when he helps them. Sh’zau isn’t always happy though; when Emessenth is close to rising he will be in a very bad mood. This is for two reasons. For one all riders get cranky when their green is close to rising, but another reason for Sh’zau to get grumpy is because he hates flights. He hates the thought of not being able to pick his mate. A lot of people have tried to convince him that he _can_ pick for himself, but Sh’zau never manages to do just that. A flight affects him in strange ways. Sh’zau is somewhat shy in love; he always needs a strong personality to lead him. What exactly has caused this, no one really knows, neither does he. Other then all of this Sh’zau is very much your everyday greenrider. He flirts, he jokes around and he loves social events.
History:	Shinzau was born to a Crafter couple at Crom Hold, where his parents both worked. He had a happy childhood, though he never though much about his future. It was until he was asked to choose a craft he started to wonder what he wanted to do in his life. He went from Crafthall to Crafthall, but he never really found anything that suited him. It was then he realised he didn’t want to spend the rest of his life doing craftwork. So he began his journey to the Weyr, and ended up at Telgar Weyr, where he was searched on the day of his arrival. It took him three turns of standing before Emessenth found him on the Sands. Weyrlinghood was just wonderful for the two; they made great progress and were praised by their Weyrlingmaster a lot. It was at Emessenth’s first flight that Sh’zau had his first real shock. From the moment his beautiful green had left the ground he had realised he was totally out of control. There wasn’t a thing he could do about the situation, or so it felt. When Emessenth was finally caught by the Weyrlingmaster’s blue there was nothing he could do but turn to the rider of his dragon’s choice. The next morning Sh’zau woke up in a very unpleasant situation. It appeared that the Weyrlingmaster had praised him for more then just good work. And so Sh’zau had to explain that it hadn’t really been his choice to do turn him. The Weyrlingmaster was surprised to say the least, considering that Sh’zau had always made it clear he preferred boys and the flight had been a most enjoyable one. When they finally left the flightroom Sh’zau felt really bad for hurting the man’s feelings and from that point onwards he didn’t like flights. After he became a Wingrider he spent a couple of years at Telgar, but when he heard of Brondir he suddenly longed for a new place. It took this longing quite some time to finally convince him to move, though. But some turns later he really couldn’t bear to see the same things every day anymore. So he asked for and got a transfer to Brondir Weyr.

Colour:	Green
Physical Description:	Emessenth is big for a green, but still very slender and graceful. She is of a gentle sea-green colour, and so seems like a very gentle green. She has specks of a lighter colour all over her body, especially on her back, tail and neck, but they aren’t really eye-catching. Her wingspan can be compared to the wingspan of a medium sized blue and her size to a small blue.
Personality:	Emessenth is a motherly green. She likes to help just about everyone. Be it a weyrling dragon, drudge, goldrider or a full-grown bronze dragon, she acts like she’s their mother. Emessenth also refers to herself as “Momma” a lot. She is gentle and kind to almost everyone. She’s also very talkative and will talk to anyone if she just gets the chance. She loves and adores Sh’zau more then anything in the world. The only time this happy green changes is when she rises. Emessenth will be totally different when she’s being chased. She’ll tease and taunt her chasers and doesn’t really mind who catches her, as long as they are strong and provide her a pleasurable flight.
